Technical Proficiency & Device Testing
This round assesses the candidate's technical skills related to device testing, bug reporting, and familiarity with different testing tools. It aims to evaluate their ability to execute test cases, identify defects, and provide clear and concise bug reports.
Describe your experience with bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla. How do you write an effective bug report?
How familiar are you with different mobile operating systems (e.g., Android, iOS) and device types? What are some common challenges you've encountered while testing on different devices?
Explain the concept of regression testing. How would you approach regression testing after a new feature is added to an existing application?
Have you ever used any automation testing tools? If so, which ones and what was your experience?
