Explain the difference between black-box testing and white-box testing. Which one do you think is more applicable for an intern role and why?
Describe a situation where you had to troubleshoot a software bug. What steps did you take to identify and resolve the issue?
Let's say you're testing a payment feature on CRED. What are some of the key test cases you would consider to ensure its functionality and reliability?

Frontend Testing & Automation Fundamentals
This round assesses the candidate's understanding of frontend testing concepts, their familiarity with automation tools and frameworks, and their ability to write basic test scripts. It also evaluates their knowledge of mobile and web technologies .
What are the key differences between testing a web application and a mobile application? How would your testing strategy differ for each?
Explain the importance of test automation in the software development lifecycle. What are some of the benefits and challenges of implementing test automation?
Describe your experience with any test automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, REST-Assured). If you don't have direct experience, explain how you would approach learning and using such a tool.
