Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will ensure the smooth functioning of the systems and provide technical support to resolve any issues that may arise. Your role will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting problems, and implementing solutions to optimize system performance and reliability. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and contribute to the improvement of operational processes and procedures. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor system performance and ensure the smooth functioning of production systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support. - Contribute to the improvement of operational processes and procedures. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux Operations. - Experience with Shell Scripting. - Strong understanding of system administration and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies. - Experience with monitoring and alerting tools. - Good understanding of ITIL processes. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux Operations. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
