The opportunity
This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and develop your skillset to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the digital landscape. Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients’ team and we’ll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive in this ever-changing industry. You should be willing to support the US, EU and other onsite teams as per their time convenience(though not always). High degree of flexibility desirable. You may need to travel onsite at the go to study client processes and come out with solutions & quick fixes.

Your Key Responsibilities
You will focus on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of Digital and Cloud based solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life.

Skills and attributes for success
Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of related work experience

• Flair for coding what is on the clients mind
• Basic or advanced understanding of different client needs, sectors and business processes
• 6 or more years of significant experience within MES/manufacturing industry and extensive experience within the following: performing MES business requirements analysis and specifications, system design, application software configuration, development, testing, installation, start-up, and maintenance and providing guidance for, system integration and application design, architecture development and support for complex and generic MES platforms including but not limited to GE Digital, Rockwell, Wonderware or Siemens.
• Prior experience providing design and configuration of computer system solutions in support of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), integration to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Quality Systems.
• Coding experience in C++, core Java/J2EE/machine learning, AI, etc.
• Possess understanding of various methodologies and standards required for project controls.
• Knowledge within software/systems technology and direct solution development capabilities with an MES platform and (MS SQL).
• Prior experience developing, implementing and conducting user and administration training as part of the installation process.
• Experience providing detailed and complex root-cause analysis support and maintenance to systems hardware and software as required.
• Experience in preparing written reports and technical evaluations, functional specifications, technical documents, proposals and other assignments as required.
  Possess independent knowledge, skills and experience in computer programming, database design, and software configuration, with majority of skills successfully executed within one or more manufacturing industries.
• Must be able to demonstrate and communicate understanding of both manufacturing business process execution and computer systems architecture in multiple industries.
  Requires ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending upon project scope.
• Has completed at least 1 or more full MES lifecycle projects with proven results delivered

Ideally, you’ll also have
Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Masters in Statistics from ISI or Chennai Mathematical Institute with manufacturing experience
Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred
