Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database management and administration, as well as expertise in optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, Performance Tuning and providing support for mission-critical applications. Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: Database Administration: • Installation, configuration, patching, upgrade and maintaining Oracle database and RAC systems. • Perform regular database backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place. • Managing database RAC environments. • Excellent skills in Oracle RDBMS/RAC architecture concepts and good exposure on oracle 11g/12c/19c • Monitor database performance and optimize query execution. • Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard data. • Schema/User, profile management, Storage structure, Tablespaces management. • Oracle network configuration • Database Lifecycle Management - Database creation, setup & decommissioning. • Database event/ monitoring, space management, user management • Database upgrades, migrations, and cloning. • Oracle DB installation, DB refresh, DB upgrade, DB decommissions, Patching. • Backup and recovery, RMAN, DATAPUMP, DATAGUARD • Apply patches and Patching (DB and client), as needed to keep the database environment up to date. • Resolve performance tuning issues, Generating & reviewing AWR reports. • Monitoring, back up/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, migration, replication, and upgrades. • Implement security and policies. Professional & Technical Skills: • Must Have Skills: Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration. • Good To Have Skills: Experience with other database technologies like MSSQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. • Strong proficiency in Oracle Database administration, including Oracle 12c, 19c, or later versions. • Experience in Data guard management. • Good to have knowledge on Goldengate • Proven experience in database upgrade and patch management. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies. • Familiarity with database security best practices. • Experience with database auditing and reporting. • Understanding of change management, problem management, and incident management processes. • Proven experience in database migration projects. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent work experience as an "Oracle Database Admin” • Strong understanding of Oracle Architecture • Auditing and reporting experience. • Experience in reporting and communicating with Oracle or vendor support. • Working experience with ticketing tools. • Working knowledge of ITIL process. Additional Information: • Experience to lead a team. • Additionally, experience with other database platforms such as MSSQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL are a plus.
