About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant.

In this role, you will:

• Consult with business line and enterprise functions on less complex research.
• Use functional knowledge to assist in non-model quantitative tools that support strategic decision making.
• Perform analysis of findings and trends using statistical analysis and document process
• Present recommendations to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Participate in all group technology efforts including design and implementation of database structures, analytics software, storage, and processing.
• Develop customized reports and ad hoc analyses to make recommendations and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
• Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area.
• Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies.
• Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and capital objectives and other strategic goals.
• Collaborate and consult with more experienced consultants and with partners in technology and other business groups.
• The Analytics Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high performing reporting solutions and data analysis.
• Perform assessment reporting through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
• Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.
• Follow all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions and ensures the end product fulfills the project objectives.
• Engage with US partners directly for development and implementation of all solutions and products.
• Proactively seek opportunities to contribute in areas beyond project deliverables like exploratory data analysis, best practices, reusability and automation.
• Proactively seek opportunities to deliver value above and beyond the prescribed book of work.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling (Tableau, Power BI, SQL)
• Advanced Excel skills in data manipulation, pivot tables, lookups and charting
• Experience in producing and translation of data into compelling narratives for Executive presentations (PowerPoint)
• Exposure to Resiliency and Third-Party Risk Management
• Strong collaboration skills and positive team player with high level of attention to detail
• Proactive problem solver with strong organizational and communication skills and customer centric focus
• Advance knowledge of Business Continuity Planning & Resiliency concepts, Third Party Program components and Third-Party Risk Management
• Knowledge of Process Unity for third party risk management
• Advanced knowledge of Service Now platforms (Business Continuity & Vendor Risk Management modules)
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize across projects.
• Ability to learn the business quickly.
• Self-driven with ability to work independently and maintain a passionate for continuous learning.
• Knowledge of functional areas such as risk, operations or supply chain/sourcing in banking industry would be an advantage.
• Ability to partner & collaborate with stakeholders located both locally & globally in achieving shared business objectives and goals.
• Technical Skills: Power BI: Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards from multiple data sources and Tableau: Strong skills in designing interactive and visually appealing dashboards
• Analytical Skills: KPI Development: Ability to identify and develop key performance indicators. Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Narrative Skills: Ability to translate complex data findings into a compelling narrative and executive presentation.

• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as across stakeholder groups.
• Education/Relevant Degrees: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field.
• Timings: Will require at least half day overlap with US, a regular workday will be form 2:30 PM IST-11:30 pm IST (5 AM EDT -2PM EDT), subject to earlier or later hours at times as business need requires. Candidate must be based out of Wells Fargo India location and will be required to work in the office location ( City of employment ) , as per organization’s In Office Adherence / Return To Office (RTO) at a minimum of 3 days per week This role will require you to work ~5 weekends a year. Candidate must be based out of posted location (Hyderabad/Bangalore) and will be required to work in office.
