Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in network security operations to ensure the security of the organization's network infrastructure and prevent unauthorized access or breaches. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security measures and protocols. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure the security of the organization's network infrastructure. - Implement and maintain network security measures and protocols. - Monitor network traffic for potential security breaches. - Investigate and resolve security incidents and vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures. - Stay up-to-date with the latest network security trends and technologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Security Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Network Infrastructures. - Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. - Knowledge of firewall technologies and intrusion detection/prevention systems. - Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools. - Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. - Ability to troubleshoot network security issues. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Network Security Operations. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A UG in Networking is required.
