Fashion Internship
Dew Solutions is hiring for the role of Fashion Intern!
Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Assist in Design Conceptualization: Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for new fashion collections or products
- Research and Trend Analysis: contribute fresh ideas to the design process
- Sketching and Design Creation: Assist in creating sketches, drawings, or digital renderings of fashion concepts, detailing garment specifications
- Technical Drawings: Assist in developing technical drawings and specifications that outline construction details for prototypes and samples
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of design concepts, sketches, fabric swatches, and other design-related materials
Requirements:
- Strong creative and technical abilities
- Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Collaborate with the designer to bring concepts to life through digital illustrations.
- Participate in fittings and provide feedback on garment construction and fit.
- Help with fabric sourcing and selection to ensure quality and aesthetic consistency.
- Assist with sample management and organization to keep the design process running smoothly.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and contribute fresh ideas to push the brand forward.
- Passion for fashion, creativity, and a strong eye for design aesthetics
- Proficiency in sketching and using design software
- Basic understanding of garment construction
- Strong research skills and techniques
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning and contributing
- Flexibility to adapt to changing design needs and priorities
- Prior experience, coursework, or portfolio showcasing design skills is a plus
