Key Responsibilities:-
- Ensure timely direct tax and transfer pricing compliance in India as well overseas geographies for the CRISIL group entities
- Support the team in planning and implementing tax efficient policies / transactions
TAX COMPLIANCE AND ADVISORY:
- Update and track annual Overseas tax compliance calendar
- Prepare advance tax computations, get it reviewed from team leader and ensure timely payments
- Prepare / review, finalise and file direct tax returns in India and overseas jurisdictions in a timely manner
- Responsible to handle all tax related information data requests, review of documents, maintain backup files, coordinate with auditors, consultants etc.
- Review of transfer pricing and withholding tax policy of the group
- Must possess good technical knowledge to interpret tax laws and treaties
TRACK UPDATES AND DEVELOPMENTS IN TAX LAWS:
- Stay abreast with the latest changes in Indian as well as overseas tax laws which primarily have an impact on the group entities,
- Discuss the implications of the developments with the team leads
