Manager
1. Responsible for managing the company's sales and use tax compliance across all jurisdictions.
2. Calculate, file, and remit sales and use tax returns in a timely manner.
3. Respond to notices, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities.
4. Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on sales and use tax requirements.
5. Demonstrate strong knowledge of sales and use tax laws, regulations, and best practices.
6. Utilize tax software and spreadsheet applications effectively.
7. Focus on ensuring the company's sales and use tax compliance, provide subject matter expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve the sales and use tax processes.
8. Stay up-to-date with the constantly changing tax laws and regulations.
9. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Have excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
11. Research and interpret business licensing and registration laws, regulations, and requirements for state and local jurisdictions.
12. Prepare and submit applications for new business licenses and registrations, as well as renewals.
