Supervising Producer - Colors Bangla Cinema

Launched in 2019, Colors Bangla Cinema is the youngest dedicated 24*7 Bengali movie channel. With more than 450+ titles, the Channel has an impressive library of movies across genres. Colors Bangla Cinema, with its vast and impressive library of most exciting blockbusters and contemporary hits, is the ultimate movie destination for the viewers showcasing films across genres like romance, action, drama, comedy, thriller, fantasy, etc.

What will you do?

  • Drive content strategy for the movie channel/OTT, ensuring a diverse mix if genres, formats, and themes that resonate with Bengali audiences.
  • Operationalise the acquisition and commissioning of Bengali films and related content.
  • Operations, scheduling, and Program Control: Lead scheduling & release of FPC, on air presentation, break strategy & on airtime management.
  • Manage channel branding and positioning to achieve audience growth engagement by drawing insights from quantitative & qualitative analysis. Timely identification and interpretations of trends in viewership & insights to improve viewership. Insight support to build & improve new movie acquisitions.
  • Execution of promo strategy, prioritizing etc, special packaging and communication requirements - cue and ideas to support Programming/OAP/ Marketing.
