Network Test Engineer, Switch Infrastructure
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in software development and testing.
- Experience with test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, automation, and debugging.
- Experience with a coding language (e.g., C, C++, Python, or Go).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with network equipment, network protocols testing, and debugging.
- Experience in test automation, network test automation, test coverage, Python, networking equipment, ethernet switching, and debugging/troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Write simple test plans, and automate others' test plans. Execute testing and releases of networking product/feature.
- Triage automated regression bugs, provide failure analysis, and proactively escalate more complex issues to executive engineers.
- Ensure the robustness of network infrastructure.
- Setup and maintain Testbed infrastructure and existing test automation. Document test procedures and results.
