Assistant Manager-Corporate Strategy

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager – CSP is responsible for leading and supporting the development and execution of the company's strategic initiatives, business plans, and performance management. The role works closely with senior leaders across the organization to identify, analyze, and prioritize strategic opportunities and challenges, and to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
Research and Analysis
· Conducting comprehensive analyses of the MFLs business operations, financial performance, and market positioning. This includes evaluating existing products and services, identifying growth opportunities, and assessing risks.
· Continuously monitoring the financial services industry and identifying opportunities for expansion or diversification. This involves analyzing customer needs and preferences, as well as regulatory changes.
· Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to track the progress of strategic initiatives. Regularly reporting on the status and adjusting as needed.
Strategy development and execution
· Support the National head of corporate strategy in developing the company's corporate strategy, aligning it with the overall business goals. This involves identifying market trends, competitive analysis, and defining strategic priorities.
· Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders on business performance, market dynamics, customer needs, product innovation, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.
· Identifying potential risks and challenges to the company's strategic objectives and developing mitigation plans. This includes compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management.
· Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration among various departments and functions to ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives and projects.

· Lead or participate in special projects, ad hoc analysis, due diligence, or other strategic initiatives as required.
· Staying updated on regulatory changes in the financial industry and ensuring the company's operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
· UG/PG in business administration, commerce, economics, finance, or related field.
· At least five years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, management consulting, or similar roles preferably in BFSI
· Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
· Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
· Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and project management
