Job Description
Primary Skills- VMware Administrator and Windows Administrator
Secondary Skills- Active Directory
Overall The Windows and VMware /SME is responsible for the installation; configuration; and management of Windows Server environments and VMware virtualization platforms.
This role ensures the stability; integrity; and efficient operation of IT systems that support core organizational functions.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Configuration of windows servers 2012-2022.Deploy; configure; and maintain Windows servers and VMware environments.
System Administration- Manage Active Directory; Group Policies; DNS; DHCP; and other Windows Server roles and features.
Virtualization Management- Oversee VMware infrastructure; including ESXi hosts; vCenter; and related components.
Performance Monitoring- Continuously monitor system performance; troubleshoot issues; and optimize for efficiency.
Security- Implement and manage security policies; conduct regular audits; and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Backup and Recovery- Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies for both physical and virtual environments.
Patching and Updates- Apply patches and updates to Windows and VMware systems to ensure they are secure and up-to-date.
Documentation- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations; processes; and changes to the IT environment.
