�The role is responsible for managing customer queries and operations. This is an operational role that may seek appropriate level of guidance and advice to ensure delivery of quality outcomes.

Responsibilities
1. BAU Support:
⦁ Provide ongoing support for VMware and OLVM environments, including incident resolution, problem identification, and root cause analysis.
2. VMware Infrastructure Management:
⦁ Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the stability of VMware vSphere environments, such as ESXi hosts, vCenter, and other VMware products.
3. OLVM Infrastructure Management:
⦁ Execute routine maintenance tasks for Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager environments, including hypervisors, storage repositories, and VMs.
4. Virtual Machine Support:
⦁ Assist in the creation, configuration, and management of virtual machines (VMs) and templates in both VMware and OLVM environments. Resolve day-to-day VM-related issues.
5. Networking and Storage Support:
⦁ Provide ongoing support for networking and storage configurations in both VMware and OLVM environments. Troubleshoot issues related to vSwitches, VLANs, and storage pools.
6. Patch and Update Management:
⦁ Apply BAU patches, updates, and security fixes to VMware and OLVM components as needed to ensure system stability.
7. Backup and Recovery Support:
⦁ Assist in the support of backup solutions and contribute to disaster recovery planning for both VMware and OLVM environments.
8. Performance Monitoring:
⦁ Monitor system performance and resource utilization to ensure BAU operations are optimized. Address performance issues promptly.
9. Security and Compliance:
⦁ Support security best practices, user access controls, and compliance with security policies in both VMware and OLVM environments.
10. Documentation:
⦁ Maintain and update documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures for BAU support.
11. Collaboration:
⦁ Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth interaction between VMware and OLVM components for BAU support.
