Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.
Must have skills : Oracle Database Administration (DBA)

Summary: Responsible for overall Database Governance with complete infrastructure management, ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system. To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime. Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of Dbs. Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases. Working knowledge on Database architecture, Database Backup & Restore, DB maintenance, Handling BAU activities. Perform many related database functions, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities: • In depth Oracle Database Administration with 4+ years of experience. • Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases in system. • Practical experience in database monitoring. • Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure services with minimum downtime. • Good knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture • L3 Task hands on experience and troubleshooting • Provide SME support. • Troubleshooting performance tuning issues. • Good knowledge on implementing Database level security. • knowledge on HADR (High availability) implementation. • Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices. • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. • Should be able to document Technical skills. • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Knowledge of Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL Database administration would be an advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: • Candidate should have at least 7+ years of experience in managing Oracle databases. • Should have at least 1 years’ experience in managing either MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle/MS /Sybase technology or any other Database technology would be an advantage • Flexible with rotation shifts 24*7 environment • Travel to other locations when required. • Good analytical Skill • Ability to document technical knowledge Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions related to Oracle Database Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
