About the position  

Location: Bengaluru, India

Hybrid 

We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Controller who will be responsible for our entity in Czech Republic. You will work closely with a Head of Finance Control for Europe who will be ready to support you.

You will be also one of members of the market unit finance team performing the finance control activities and driving process improvements for the local marketing & sales organizations. There are also key working relationships that need to be established & maintained across the group especially with commercial finance, tax, treasury, shared service group and the outsource provider Capgemini.

 

These are your main responsibilities:

• Keeping accounting books according to International Financial Reporting Standards
• Assist in preparation of local financial statement
• Preparation of VAT return and supporting annual CIT calculation
• Booking payroll, accruals, month-end journals
• Providing input for transfer pricing documentation
• Issuing IC recharges
• Taking care of balance sheet hygiene and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• Participation in global finance projects
• Control over P2P activities, managing and creation of purchase orders, goods received, supplier invoicing, creation of new supplier
• Cooperation with big4 and tax auditors

 

So, what does it take to be successful in this role? 

 

You are an ideal candidate if you have 3-5 years of previous relevant experience in audit or accounting. ACCA is a strong asset.

You have very good practical knowledge of Excel and SAP.

We are very dynamic and less structured organization, that is why we expect that you will adapt quickly to our processes, new technology and tools, but you will also look for improvements.

On daily basis we are working together as a one team that is why we count on your ability to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. All this while keeping your eye for detail, can-do mentality and good timing skills.

Fluent Czech/Slovak and advanced English is required.
