Job purpose:

Senior Consultant in the IT Consulting team to work on various cloud implementation projects for our customers across the globe.

Your client responsibilities:

• ABAP Development: Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications and custom solutions using ABAP programming language.
• Technical Analysis: Analyze technical requirements and work closely with clients and functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Customization: Customize standard SAP applications to meet specific business requirements, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
• Data Integration: Develop interfaces and data conversions to integrate SAP systems with other applications and databases.
• Code Optimization: Optimize ABAP code for better performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Testing: Collaborate with functional teams to conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning of ABAP programs.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for ABAP programs, ensuring clear and organized records.
• SAP Upgrades: Assist in SAP system upgrades by analysing and adapting ABAP code as required.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that align with SAP best practices.
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis

Mandatory skills:

• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant, with a strong track record in ABAP development.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming language, including ABAP objects, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and data conversions.
• Working knowledge in ABAP on HANA.
• Practical knowledge on CDS and AMDP.
• Practical knowledge on ODATA
• Working Experience on BTP-ABAP
• RAP
• Managed Scenarios
• Unmanaged Scenarios
• In-App Extension
• Side by Side Extensions(Good to Have)
• Form – Output Management( Good to Have)
• SAP Build APPS(Good to have)
• LCNC(Good to Have)
• LTMC(Good to Have)
• Event Mesh(Good to Have)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on SAP ABAP developments and industry trends.
• Real time knowledge and experience in implementation and migration projects
• Graduate/Post Graduate degree with a sound industry experience of 3 to 5 Yrs.

Additional technical skills which will be an advantage

• SAP Gateway
• HANA analytics – predictive and text analysis
• Knowledge of SAP FIORI
• HTML, CSS, Java Script

Preferred skills:

• Experience with SAP HANA, and SAP cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with SAP functional modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP FI/CO).
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills.
