Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data infrastructure to support business needs and enable data-driven decision-making. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. - Create and manage data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and integration across systems. - Implement ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes to migrate and deploy data. - Ensure data quality and integrity by performing data validation and cleansing activities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise. - Optimize data infrastructure and performance to support business needs. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and incidents. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and recommend improvements to existing processes and systems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. - Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and principles. - Experience with SQL and data querying languages. - Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend. - Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles. - Experience with data validation and cleansing techniques. - Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
