15-18 years of experience across Java and PEGA technologies
Required Qualifications:
o Pega CLSA certification
o Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field
o 8 + years of experience in the J2EE architecture
o Hands on design and development experience in Pega v8
o 8 + years of overall development experience in Pega Enterprise Applications
o 6 + years of Pega design and development experience as a LSA
o 4 + years of experience in any RDBMS - Oracle, SQL, DB2
Primary Skill
o Extensive experience in web service design and development
o Expertise with recent Pega version (Pega v8 or higher)
o Managing software functional requirements throughout the SDLC
o Participation in an Agile software development environment
o Working with users/stakeholders and Lead Business Architect and capture software solution needs
o Hands-on configuration and deployment of software solutions at the enterprise level
o Documentation of requirements, high level and low level design, user guide, code release artifacts
Technology Utilized:
o JVM, Session Management, Tracer, DB trace, MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres, AWS Cloud
o PRPC Work Object Relationships, Specialization techniques, Rule Resolution / Inheritance / Circumstancing, Persistence, Agents, Functions / Java API, Services, Connectors, PRPC Multi-node architecture and caching
o Apache Tomcat, Web Sphere, server deployment, configuring & troubleshooting.
o REST / SOAP / XML
o Pega Platform v8 design, build and deployment, debugging, application monitoring and tuning
o Pega Constellation, Cosmos UI/UX
o SQL, UNIX, Oracle, Windows, Java, Shell scripting, Websphere, Middleware (MQ, DP, APIC)
o Automation tools like OpenSpan and Automation Anywhere
Responsibilities:
o Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI standards, guardrail score
o Adhere to Pega systems design principles and development guardrails, and enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding
o Run sessions with business and IT teams and lead the effort in gathering and understanding requirements
o Evaluate business requirements and help and facilitate the technical aspects of the solution by providing thought-leadership across business and technical project dimensions
o Ensure the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer functional requirements, and commits to Customer Success
o Comfortable with System Administration and ability to carry out PRPC infrastructure installation, setup, and configuration
o Performance monitoring and tuning of the Pega application
o Liaison between Pega and Service integration teams and leads the integration design discussions
o Manages the release and deployment of Pega applications across environments
o Proactively identifies and mitigates risk to projects
o Participate in Agile software development sprints and sprint planning activities
o Lead agile teams and processes as necessary.
o Define solution acceptance criteria and assist in software testing
o Publish software release notes and maintain other product documentation
o Mentor Software Development team members as needed
o Lead client workshops around software products and processes
o Participate in and provide support to customer success teams
