Job Description
- Experience in data analysis, design, and development experience in Cloud environment
- At least 2+ years experience in cloud-based Data Ingestion, Data Processing, Data Consumption and data warehouse solutions leveraging Snowflake
- In addition to Snowflake, preferred to have experience on Bigdata management using any platform with hands-on knowledge of tools Data processing DBT,/ ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion etc.
- Strong in Data management, ETL/ELT and Data warehousing concepts
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures and SnowPipe
- Expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts like virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features
- Proficient in languages commonly used with Snowflake (SQL, Python in particular)
- Experience of one end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse and Data Migration from on-premise preferably on RDBMS or NOSQL.
- Experience working in a Dev/Ops environment.
- Experience with best practice design principles and approaches for a range of application styles and technologies to help guide team in development
- Strong communication and client facing, experience working in on-shore / off-shore teams
