Position title – Risk Engineer – Senior

Job purpose:

• UI developer proficient in React and JavaScript typically involves creating engaging user interfaces, ensuring smooth user experiences, and collaborating with design and backend teams to bring features to life. it involves leveraging cutting-edge technologies to design and implement UI architectures, ensuring that they are both innovative and effective. Additionally, the role entails establishing and upholding standards for UI design, ensuring consistency and quality across projects. Moreover, the focus is on developing highly scalable products, capable of meeting the evolving needs of users and businesses alike.

Your Key responsibilities:

• Provides innovative and practical designs for the design and integration of new data architecture for the enterprise, applying advanced technical capabilities
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Guide others in resolving complex issues in data architecture and solves complex, escalated aspects of a project
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Monitors the progress and the quality of the project.
• Reviews and develops due diligence to confirm the developed solution complies with architectural design
• Maintaining software through product lifecycle including design, development, verification, and bug fixes.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

Requirements

We are looking for the candidates with the following:

• Experience with ReactJS with 2 + years of production development
• Excellent in JavaScript with 6+ years of development.
• 4+ years in Web development
• UI/UX and architecture skills
• JSON, REST and Web Services awareness.
• Awareness of Protractor, Karma, Jasmine or other testing tools.
• Thorough understanding of React JS and its core principles
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Good knowledge in JavaScript OOPs concept.
• Strong in Problem solving approach
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React JS and its core principles and experience with popular React JS workflows such as Flux or Redux
• Strong command over HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web designing
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Angular2+
• Experience in Redux
• AWS/Azure or any cloud exposure
• SSO, LDAP, OAuth, SSL integration exposure
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Testing and the ability to write unit test scripts/specs(Karma, Jasmine)
• Familiarity with code versioning tools and DevOps
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Experience – Must have experience in at least one of the following:

• Utilize web development technologies to facilitate application development for front end UI used for risk management actions.
• Experience in working risk technology team in a bank/financial institution.
• Experience in developing/enhancing risk platforms in a bank/financial institution.
• Create and maintain software applications used for analytical purposes, pricing models, risk management, and credit pricing.
• Participate in implementing models within pricing and risk systems.

Skills (Atleast one of these skills)

• Pricing Products: Understanding of pricing models and financial products.
• Risk Management: Knowledge of risk factors and risk management techniques.

Experience – Good to have:

• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and exceptions related Market Risk metrics.
• Experience in market risk management for interest rate or equity markets.
• Experience in market (VaR, CVaR) and credit risk models (CVA, PFE, Credit VaR).
• Experience in market risk technology.

Education and Experience:

• Overall application development experience of 4-8 years
• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science from a reputed institute
