Job Description

This is a hands-on QA role. It's a role for you if you like to write code, improve testing frameworks, patterns, and processes, with increased focus on AI and ML models, and if you like to help others do the same.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure and champion quality processes, which allow teams to identify, report, assess and resolve problems found during testing, and proactively avoid reoccurrences.
• Create and maintain end to end test automation framework using Python, SQL and UNIX.
• Suggest and implement improvements to the testing automation processes and tools.
• Resolve day to day issues and provide solutions.
• Be QA subject matter expert in specific areas across projects.
• Train and mentor members of the team to help them solidify their testing expertise, scrutiny and use of the tools.
• Manual testing will also be expected, but emphasis will be placed on devising and implementing automation-based solutions.
• Develop standardized procedures - test plans, bug, regression testing, automated test cases.
• Contribute to the automated testing efforts and ensure comprehensive test coverage by finding defects and verifying fixes.

Job Specifications

Required

• Must have 3+ years of prior experience in data analysis or data testing.
• Must have experience working in data platforms like Big Data, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes etc.
• Must have strong expertise in Python and SQL with a knack of understanding data.
• Must have exposure to testing and validation of AI and ML models and frameworks.
• Desirable to have hands-on experience in test automation development using Python or SQL.
• Must have in-depth SQL knowledge to understand and work iteratively with complex data sets and models.  Data will be tested for accuracy, completeness, and performance.
• Continuous testing experience and expertise required.
• Proven success in position of similar responsibilities in a QA environment.

Preferred

• Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, automation strategies such as BDD, In-sprint automation etc.
• Development of AI and ML frameworks
• Azure Data Lake experience.
• Experience in Hive, Databricks, Unix/Linux Shell scripting
• Experience with Airflow on Azure
• Background of accessing big data preferably Hadoop clusters desirable
• Background on Data certification and familiarity with working around data gates.

Education: BE in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
