Job DescriptionResponsible for KPI Improvement for the zone. Managing day to day network operations and maintenance, in the respective areas of Fiber OSP, O&M, Network / ISP & Infra other domains. This includes- customer change requests, platform uptime, incident management, problem management, CFT / OEM Interlock, and escalation support for the operations. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have a direct impact on day-to-day operations and capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these roles.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain infrastructure necessary for the growth and upkeep of field and network operations to drive network efficiency and availability.
Improve overall KPI network performance (MTTR, Fiber cut incidences, RE%, Customer TTs with Optimized Cost on CM).
Proactive/Reactive fault management; Incident Management: Customer Handling during the fault and ensuring subsequent updates in timely manner. Analyse, Plan & Propose for approvals.
Work directly with other OEM on repeat issues, Strong Vendor and people management skills. Interlock with IRU partners for better KPI performance.
Review CFT teams changes frequency, criticality and identify gap and prepare RCA & POA.
Follow, Track and monitor the processes and to ensure HSW compliance in day-to-day activities.
Manage network equipment maintenance and security operations for all sites.
Maintain day to day O&M tasks associated installation, Service Delivery
The role may be an individual contributor and or may lead a small team. To involve & contribute towards overall improvement for the zone / cluster.
Stong domain expertise in Fiber O&M, Operations, People management, Vendor management & Material Management.
Ability to write and present a comprehensive RCA & PoA for OSP / ISP & Infra domain.
Understanding of Fiber OPS, ISP & Infra domain and related technologies
Passion, Commitment & self-motivated to drive Fiber operations to achieve new benchmark
