In this role as the Technology Major Incident Manager, ananalyze data, you will act as an Incident Manager to drive resolution of incidents with reputational, regulatory, compliance, customer, or business impact that require an immediate coordinated response and timely communications. You will lead to the resolution of complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale applications, systems, databases, or other technical products and services. You will partner with Platform and Business teams in driving resolution activities. You will make an impact by
identifying opportunities for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans and contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
• Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Collaborate with liaison, work stream leaders and accountable team members to define the cadence
• Work as a strong team player to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Translate technology experience, in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions
• Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommend innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
• Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
• Provide training and mentoring to less experienced team members on guidebook changes and lead team to meet technical
• deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Identify opportunity for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans
• Contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
• Build and maintain relationship with business and technology partners to support rapid Major Incident recovery
• You will exercise some independent judgment to analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements while developing understanding of technical process controls or standards and be an internal consultant for the use of tools and processes

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of overall experience in Technology Operations
• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 2+ years of experience with Change, Incident, Problem management.
• 1+ years of experience with Automation, Python /PowerShell/Java scripting

Desired Qualifications:

• Collaborate with work stream leaders as well as integration leads and process leads to document the gaps
• Create reporting framework for all levels
• Understand the requirements to normalize the data sets
• Experience as technical writer or Technical Project management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Command center operations or Major Incident management experience
• Experience working with Service Now or equivalent
• Experience working with Microsoft Teams or equivalent
• Window, Linux Server OS, Network & routing topology, & IT Support fundamentals
• Physical and virtual server technology fundamentals
• Experience working with Cloud technologies
• Experience working in an Agile team environment

Job Expectations:

• Experience in Systems Engineering, and Technology Architecture, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Troubleshoots hardware and software issues using general guidelines and templates, by updating and creating documentation and procedures (playbooks that will be used by Incident Commanders)
• Ability to identify the Toil/Process improvements and work towards addressing them as part of day-to-day activities
• Maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to production systems in support of Always-On initiative
• Exercise some independent judgment to analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements while developing understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes
• Open to work in flexible hours, on call support in a 24x7 command center environment
• Willingness to work on-site as per in-office expectation guidelines at stated location
