Job Description
- Work with container app ops team to understand the current eco system.
- Identify top sources of vulnerabilities and recommend ways that we can use automation and available tools to update base images and containers.
- Work with the Security team and help identify gaps and areas of improvement in the quality of reports we send to teams.
- Help validate the deleted images that keep showing up on the report and make sure we have automated way to kill root and inherited dependencies of the deleted images.
- Lead the Vulnerability Management Day 15th every month and summarize and follow up with reports.
- Lead strategical projects in container security Harbor-Apex integration, Wiz implementation, shift left policy enforcing.
- Applications picked for PCI audits works with our team to prepare for the audits and help applications teams provide evidence.
Primary Skills
- Strong experience on Container Security, Kubernetes Security and IAC Terraform.
Secondary Skills
- Build a base image registry and support all base images bi-weekly.
- Knowledge of Qualys and other security tools.
