Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst to spearhead our data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL initiatives within complex projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data architecture, analytics, and extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. As a lead, you will guide and mentor a team of data analysts and work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and execute creation  of robust data models and data warehousing solutions  to support business requirements and initiatives.

- Lead optimization, management and support  for ongoing data models and ETL processes.

- Oversee the development and optimization of ETL processes, ensuring data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded into the data warehouse in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to identify and understand data sources, and define data collection and integration strategies.

- Develop and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines that support complex data analysis and reporting needs.

- Guide the team in the analysis of large, complex datasets, providing insights and recommendations to drive business outcomes.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data technology, adopting new tools and techniques to enhance data capabilities.

- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis

- Strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

- Proficient in SQL and experience with data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, SSIS).

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects involving cross-functional teams.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
