Network Operations Engineer, Corporate

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience with Network Administration, Network Troubleshooting, Wired Networks, Wireless Networking, and Data Center Operations.
  
• 3 years of experience implementing or supporting enterprise networks.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of experience with fundamental networking technologies and protocols (e.g., ARP, Ethernet, DHCP, IPSec, GRE, WiFi standards, routing protocols, DNS, RADIUS, 802.1x).
  
• Experience in operating Enterprise (Corporate) Network.
  
• Excellent Linux and networking troubleshooting skills.
  

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotating on call schedule with other members of the team including weekends supporting multi-vendor network including both wired and wireless connectivity for Enterprise (Corporate) Network.
  
• Identify, define, and update operational requirements to adopt new technology into operations in collaboration with Engineering, Architecture, and Developers.
  
• Identify network issues, determine and recommend appropriate solutions in partnership with Engineering.
  
• Create, maintain, and review operational best practices across teams. Drive efficiencies through automation.
