Head - Indirect Taxation
Job Description: Required candidate will Ensure regulatory compliance under various Indirect Tax Laws across multiple jurisdictions and Represent the Company before various Government Departments and Taxing Authorities.
Required skills
In-depth knowledge on various State and Central Tax laws viz. GST, Customs, Central Excise, Sales Tax, Professional Tax, Foreign Trade Policy and Trade treaties etc.
- Strong analytical and interpretation skill on handling litigious issues.
- Expertise in drafting replies to various queries relating to GST Audit, Tax Appeal and Revision Petitions etc.
- Excellent Liaisoning skill with Inter-personal relationship.
- Team management with ability to guide and motivate people.
- Expert level knowledge and problem-solving skill to lead the team in case of crisis and come out with feasible solution.
- Fair knowledge on Accounting Principles, Standards and Audit Procedures.
- Exposure to cross-border tax implication.
- Familiar with Tax Technology and Automation Tools.
- Updated with various Case laws and Expertise in handling Taxation related Appeal and Revision Cases at different forums.
