Technical Program Manager, Procurement and Commercial Solutions
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience managing projects.
- 2 years of program management experience on technical cross-functional projects, including planning, execution, estimation, risk management and stakeholder management.
- 2 years of experience engaging with a software development team developing and reviewing technical requirements, design documents, bug triage, setting technical goals, and negotiating technical tradeoffs between teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Experience helping teams measure and improve operational excellence, product excellence, equity, and accessibility.
- Experience with Agile methodology and program increment planning.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical groups.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage integrated schedules and project plans working across UX, engineering, product teams. Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally and cross-product areas to improve processes and tools.
- Drive product excellence through assembly of project delivery success criteria, overseeing progress towards success metrics, partner with business stakeholders and technology teams across product areas to define project goals, strategy, and roadmaps.
- Communicate status to leadership and stakeholders, identify roadblocks and propose solutions, use technical knowledge to influence best outcomes both within the team and with stakeholders and partners.
- Support the development of contracting tools or procurement platform partnering with business stakeholders (e.g., legal, finance, product areas).

The team contributes to developing and maintaining the Contracting Life-cycle Management platforms and Buying Hub, which serves as Google's central procurement platform that simplifies the buying process and facilitates users access to necessary products and services.
