Senior Specialist - Cyber Security Operations

We are seeking a dynamic, and forward-thinking Enterprise Self starter, must be keen to learn, should be able to come up with creative solutions, should also posses qualities of building consensus.

What will you do?

  • Detect and respond to threats to protect NW18 from both internal and external threats by designing broad defenses against would-be intruders.
  • Fine tune Policies and configurations of Security products to keep them up-to-date.
  • Take the lead on day-to-day monitoring for unusual activities, implement defensive protocols, and respond to the incidents.
  • Collaborate with other members of the cybersecurity team to develop new detection logics, layers of protection, and other both proactive and defensive systems that stay one step ahead of cyber adversaries.
  • Maintain security guidelines, procedures, standards, and controls documentation.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current cybercrime tactics.
  • Manage and maintain Cyber Security tools like SIEM/XDR, AV/EDR, Email security, DevSecOps Solutions.
  • Research/evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them.
  • Propose Security usecases that could be automated an orchestrated.
  • Meet Security Operation Centre OKR to continuously maintain highest state of cyber security posture and continually improve them.
  • Detect and respond to anomalies within NW18 environment using Network sniffing solutions.
  • Maintain understanding and implement best practices from well recognized standards and frameworks - OWASP, NIST, MITRE’s ATT&CK methodology etc.

  • Apply detection and prevention logics to monitor and respond to cyber threats.
  • Ensure security Application Pentesting/VA schedules are on track as per defined forecast.
  • Monitor SIEM/XDR and AV/EDR solutions for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
  • Test and evaluate security products.
  • Identify tasks that could be orchestrated and propose them to automation team.
  • Use advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
  • Investigate security alerts and invoke incident response.
  • Liaise with TechOps leaders in relation to cyber security issues and provide future recommendations
  • Monitor and respond to 'phishing' emails, Fraud alerts and spam and unwanted or malicious emails.
  • Deploy and Manage endpoint detection and prevention tools to thwart malicious hacks
  • Monitor Cloud infra and Web/mobile application performance to identify and irregular/malicious activity.
  • Implement comprehensive vulnerability management systems across all assets on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Implement various security benchmarks (CIS) for the security of various operating system flavors including but not limited to Windows, Linux, Unix.
  • Identify best solution for securing applications, databases, middleware to address security threats against the same.
  • Provide visibility to Management and other departments through Cyber reports, dashboards and documents.
  • Create and maintains Standard Operating Procedures and other similar documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
