Context
The position will be responsible for collecting and analyzing sales and revenue performance for Core and Next-Gen Connectivity Services (CNGCS) globally. The data and reports generated will assist Product owners in decision making with respect to product performance, and performance against targets set in the annual operating plan. This position will also assist in building financial forecast models.
Summary of Functions
- Collect and analyze global sales data to enable the CNGCS to track performance against AOP target. Key performance measures include:
- monthly new sales, price trends / erosion, terminations
- revenue by customer segments & regions
- product run rate / churn rate
- total and new revenue by service, segment, route, cable system vs. targets
- Review monthly revenue reports from Finance and provide details and action plan on any anomaly on revenue (large and unexpected loss/credit, revenue swing, missing revenue, etc.)
- Track order-to-bill to monitor new MRC wins can turn into product revenue.
- All of the above will require interaction with Teams in Product, Sales Operations, FP&A, Revenue Reporting, Service Assurance, Engineering and Sales Governance, etc.
- University degree in Business Administration, Management, or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years Telecommunications or related industry experience.
- Solid experience in managing financial data, strong ability to analyze and synthesize information
- Strong skills in using Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of business process.
