Our team is looking for a SDE-2 who will play an instrumental role in defining the system architecture, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall experience for the Prime Video customers. You’ll collaborate closely with Product team, UX designers, and other SDE team members to help define the scope and roadmap of the product. As an early team member, you will take responsibility for technical problem solving, creatively meeting product objectives, and developing best practices.Successful candidates for this position will be self-starters with excellent problem solving skills who love getting things done. Effective communication skills and a desire to tackle complex problems that emerge from driving a large business at Amazon are also a must.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
