Manager - Piping

Responsibilities

1. Perform calculations of critical piping networks, Seismic loads, Thermal loads and Wind loads etc. as per standards and codes used in industry.
2. Assist P&ID section preparation for stress inputs of line list.
3. Provide design recommendations and directions to clients in the early stages of product/process design.
4. Should be able to provide solutions/recommendations and write reports based on the Piping stress analysis/FEA simulations.
5. Apply basic and advanced mechanical sciences to perform design analysis of products and components, including static/dynamic analysis, strength of materials, material selections and design optimization.
6. Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and client and projects standards
7. Adhering to OSID and piping industry practices for design safety and adopting safe attitudes towards engineering design and raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities

Qualifications

1. B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical from a reputed institute/ university. Masters degree in the same is preferred.
2. Minimum 10-15 Years of total work experience with 3 years relevant experience in the similar role in a large / mid sized organisation
