SDE II - Quality Assurance - Automation

Our engineering team defines the technical architecture and drives itself to build systems that serve billions of requests per day, cosmic scales of video content streamed every day, with ultra-low latency design and high reliability. We make sure every byte of video content gets to millions of viewers, at the highest quality possible. What will you do?

  • Define and monitor quality assurance metrics for continuous quality & process improvements
  • Estimate efforts, identify risks, devise mitigation aspects
  • Lead programmatic best practices by example
  • Understanding project documents and product objectives to create and execute test cases
  • Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Connected-TV, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests
  • Work closely with management to identify risks, solve problems and maintain progress
  • Identify and implement solutions for applying new and smarter test methodologies for uncovering quality risks
  • Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes
  • Managing the final quality on production release
  • Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.

    • Who should apply for this role?

  • Mobile app automation experience is must to have( e.g Appium, espresso etc)
  • Expert level knowledge in one or more programming languages - Java, Python, Java Script, Scala, Gatling etc
  • 2 to 4.5 years of hands-on experience in Automating Android and iOS Apps
  • Possess the ability  to  study the test cases and convert them into scripts
  • Strong knowledge on Automation using various frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured/Rest API, Maven, TestNg) 
  • Strong knowledge in framework design patterns (POM, BDD, Data Driven)
  • Hands on experience on developing tools or frameworks to test complex micro-services, client applications and system at scale
  • Prior experience in Automation of TV devices is plus.
  • Experience in industry best practices in S/W development process : Unit testing, Code coverage, Object Oriented design, code quality, automation, code reviews etc
  • Advanced knowledge on the infrastructure, CI/CD toolchains and ecosystem
