Zepto is a fast-growing startup that delivers groceries in 10 minutes through an optimised network of dark stores that we're building across the country! We’re scaling up throughout Mumbai quickly and, in the next six months, we’ll be launching in Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata. Primary Responsibilities

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will work very closely with the Team Lead & Tech Leadership to lead end-to-end development. We’re looking for people who can

• Design and implement multiple large-scale mobile applications with React-Native in a high pace environment
• Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for experience on par with native applications
• Participating in SDLC processes streamlining, POC development, Functional Estimation, Performance Tuning, Environments setup, etc
• Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption
• Mentor young minds and foster team spirit

What Are We Looking For?

• 4-7 years of experience building mobile applications
• Proficient with React Native with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Experience in developing and delivering large scale Android and iOS mobile applications via React-Native
• Ability to work through new and complex React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed
• Engineers who are obsessed with optimizations and are ready to go the extra mile to deliver the best app experience to the customers
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax and Typescript
• Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Mocha, etc
• Experience in at least one native language, Android or iOS(Swift/Objective C)
• Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced tools
• Worked in a startup environment with high levels of ownership and commitment
• A growth mindset and passionate about building things from the ground up, and most importantly, you should be fun to work with
