Process Specialist - SMD placement & conveyor systems

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. Regular responsibilities with Panasonic and ASM SMD placement technology

1. Ensure manufacturing process compliance with legal- & safety requirements,
engineering principles, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process
specifications.
2. Prepare, execute and document technical readiness for NPI & ECR.
3. Internal and Customer defect avoidance and reduction
4. Develop and implement productivity and process improvements (e.g. CT reduction,
cost reduction etc.,).
5. 2nd level machine downtime problem solving and developing concepts for high
machine uptime.

6. CT and CPH improvement activities

Periodic responsibilities 

1. Assure Machine capability.
2. Assure compliance in internal and external Audits.
3. Proactive identification of potential quality risks and containment/correction.
4. Knowledge transfer and Lessons Learned deployment (in and out: Training of
Maintenance and Production, CN Lessons Learned (DMD implementation),
Benchmarking).

Bachelors or Diploma in any one of the stream from ,Mechanical Electronics, Electrical, Industrial automation and Mechatronics

5+ year - relevant job experience in electronics and or automotive business.

Technical competencies

1. Knowledge in respective processes (SMD placement & conveyor systems)
2. Problem solving methodology with deep dive root cause analysis, PDCA, FMEA etc.,

3. SMD placement process setup /programming and troubleshooting

4. MES /traceability system know how
