Job Summary                                                                                                                          

Practice Leader – Natural Resources

 

This role would suit a business leader from a Management Consulting and/or System Integration organization who is at a Practice director/Manager Level with proven experience and solid domain knowledge in Natural Resources and NetZero Transformation along with point of view on business value from digital Transformation.

This role would ensure deliverables to existing clients also maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape across key accounts in the region, lead by example through ability to present Wipro offerings on Natural Resources capabilities, experience and value proposition in person and on-line to business managers and C-level stakeholders

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead industry capabilities and deep domain knowledge with hands on experience in industries such as Mining
• Experience in Architecture, design, development, and implementation of applications in the mining value chain.
• Experience in evaluating and architecting various cloud native, hybrid, digital platforms/solutions using IOT/Digital twin technologies
• Experience in designing Artificial Intelligence led Data Platform solutions in the operating technology space with working knowledge of Industry standard historians and Industrial Automation protocols and frameworks such as ISA 95/88

It is expected that you will have the following:

• Relationship building skills – Track record of working with and selling to senior clients (CXOs and their teams in business segments and Technology).Well-connected with strong relationships with key decision makers & influencers in the region
• Quantitative, fact-based approach to team based problem solving and strategic approach to addressing issues and offering solutions.  
• Solid business acumen, with an understanding of current market trends, risks and prevalent technologies currently used.

• Possess a good understanding of the Natural Resources sector (with a focus on Mining), its challenges, solutions being offered, logistics & operations business processes
• Knowledge of the Mining IT landscape, its enterprise architecture, KPIs, key vendor solutions

• Excellent verbal and written communication style, with a solid ability to confidently build a strong rapport with project teams and the client.  
• Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude, with a strong desire to learn and shape your own career path. 
• Commitment to making a positive lasting client impact.

• Ability to interact and discuss industry level issues with c-level executives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mining, chemicals or and related industries
• Minimum 15 years of combined experience in Natural resources
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in architecting and embedding digital led solutions in the above space.
• Certifications in Enterprise architecture frameworks with related experience in building reference models and digital strategies and capability models. Proven experience in digital strategy,  application portfolio optimization, legacy modernization
• At least 10 years of professional experience in relevant Enterprise Architecture, Digital Strategy, and IT/Digital/Business Transformation domains
• Prior working knowledge in technologies related to the Mining domain
