Job Description

  • Proven experienceworking with Cisco Nexus switches in a medium to large-scale network environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, and 2K series switches.
  • Solid understanding of data center architectures, including spine-leaf topologies, SDN, and Cisco ACI.
  • Expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, including VLANs, STP, VTP, HSRP/VRRP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing advanced Nexus features like vPC, FabricPath, VXLAN, and NX-OS.
  • Experience with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.)
  • Proven experience working with F5 Load Balancers, particularly F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, ASM, and APM modules.
  • Strong background in load balancing, traffic management, and application delivery in complex, high-availability environments.

Primary Skills

Secondary Skills

  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS) and security principles.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
  • Experience with SSL/TLS management, including certificate generation, renewal, and troubleshooting.
