Job Description

Role / Designation: Asst Manager – Security Operations  

Job Level: 11A 

Job location: Mumbai

Reporting Manager: Head – Security Operations 

Accountabilities: 

1. The Security Analyst will be primarily responsible for the daily monitoring and/or maintenance of the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. The main duties of the person in this role will include proper care and administration of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) environments and monitoring and responding to the alerts that generate from the tool. This person will interface with Service Managers, IT Operations, Network Operations, Infrastructure teams, Legal, Risk Management, etc. 

2. Work with vendors to support the Security technology (troubleshooting, upgrades, etc.) 

3. Administration of the Security tools which includes configuring policies and reporting 

4. Monitor and respond to alerts generated from the DLP / Web DLP / Proxy systems and other technologies 
   

5. Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations 
   
   •    Respond to escalations by the Incident Response Team 
   
   •    Follow processes to maintain the DLP system 
   
   •    Other tasks as assigned 

6. Identify, evaluate, implement and operationalise necessary security controls through tools and practices.  

7. Responsibilities includes installation, configuration, management and maintenance of network security tools such as DLP, WAF, Proxy, IPS, DDoS protection etc. Other responsibilities may include managing and maintaining AntiVirus, Anti Malware, Anti APT, EDR, DLP, IRM, MDM, Cloud security controls etc.  

8. Keep abreast with country specific cyber threats through maintaining close work relationship with regulatory agencies and CERT, attend RBI’s cyber events & trainings 

9. Ensure Audit and Compliance issues are closed for Cyber security domain in a timely manner 

10. Responsible for managing vendors who support for various tools and services, ensure timely and meaningful vendor reviews, SLA assurance and management  

11. Ensure Tech Sec dash boarding and reporting with highest levels of integrity to portray the correct cyber security posture of CRISIL to the top management 

Education / Experience / Other Information 

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Graduation in Computer Science degree or equivalent degree 

• 6-8 years’ experience in information security, cybersecurity, technology security  management in large multinational financial / technology institutions environment 

• CISSP, CEH, OEM certifications etc will be an advantage. 

• Hand-on experience on implementation / configuration / troubleshooting of various Tech Sec tools  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
