Offshore Structural Designers - S3D/E3D
- Being responsible for modelling & Drawing generation & verification of Fixed/FPSO Topside modules, MTO & Cost control, and Schedule & MH control.
- Is accountable for technical integrity of structural engineering activities and deliverables.
- Interface coordination and meetings on critical issues with Client / Vendor’s / Class authorities / Construction Fabrication Yards / Project / other Engineering departments.
- Review of contract document, obtain clarifications vide technical queries and ensure that all the team members are aware of contract conditions.
- Checking of 3D Model & Drawings for Engg aspects using NAVIS works / equivalent 3D Model viewers, prepare MTO / BOQ / BOM,
- Candidate must hold sound knowledge of S3D, E3D and Navis Works software.
- Must be familiar with design specifications and Codes AISC, API RP2A, DNV, NORSOK, Eurocodes, Conceptual study, FEED & other studies.
- Must be familiar with detailing requirement and review different type of preservice and in service analysis for Topside module’s (In-Place, lifting, Barge Transportation, Load-Out).
- Shall be able to model & review connection of offshore structures.
- Conversant with safety standards of structural elements like Stairs, Ladders, Handrails etc.
- Review of Weight Control Report (WCR)
- Experience of interdisciplinary 3D model reviews, constructability review.
