IN_RBAI_Assistant Manager_Manufacturing Execution System(MES) Application Engineer

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. • Support integration and application of Manufacturing Execution System(MES) in the plant
• Support technical discussions with external/internal departments
• Provide proposals for system improvement
• Cooperation with development departments, support improvement of traceability
• Improve, rationalize systems and statistics
• Maintain project schedules, provide regular project updates, maintain contact with project staff
• Ensure that MES System availbility(24*7) in Prodcution environment.
• Ensure the quality of data availability in Database.
• Continuous improvement and process support in MES including interaction between MES and ERP system
• Enabling the data connectivity Station -MES - Hadoop
• Conduct the concept discussions with the project management, process engineers and station suppliers regarding SPS, MES and traceability topics.
• Coordinate new requirements with central departments and MES suppliers and be responsible for the scheduling and content coordination then Implementation.
• MES configuration for New lines/new Prodcut
• Set up the IT infrastructure, configure it and test it in advance
• Responsible for the commissioning and acceptance of the line with the Supplier and plant process engineers involved
• Risk handling in case of failures
• Handle Ad-hoc projects 
• Connect with AE-CN MES & Traceability Team to improve the MES system and Traceability in plant.
• Updating the MES servers and infrastructures  to be handled for Mobility Electronics(ME) level requirements.
• Training, support and consulting about MES modules and traceability for plant users.
• Standardization and documentation of processes
• Documentation of lessons learned in case of issues

5-8 years of experience in Data engineering .

Preferable from Automotive Electronics Industry.

BE / B-Tech in Computer Science / Electronics

• Basic knowledge for Manufacturing Execution Systems (Nexeed MES is a plus)
• Familiar with automation technologies (PLCs like Siemens, Rexroth etc.)
• Experience in system operation/administration in automotive field is an advantage
• Fluency in written & spoken English language
• Knowledge on Web Server technologies such as IIS, Apache
• Experience in programming/scripting (C#, .NET framework)
• Experience with database management systems (MSSQL, Oracle)
• Windows Server administration, client applications, services
