Job Description

Who are we looking for?

A Unix/Linux resource with more than 5 years of experience in production support.

Technical Skills: .

 5+ years of experience in Linux administration.

 Good troubleshooting skills in production support

 Good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels

 Good in Linux commands and Linux shell scripting.

 Should have strong OS administration on Linux.

 Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux systems and servers

 OS patching skills on Linux/UNIX

 Should know how to troubleshoot debug memory issues

 Defining and managing user and access rights

 Performing routine system maintenance and reviewing error logs

 Identifying and solving problems related to Linux infrastructure.

 Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs.

 Good to have Ansible and DevOps knowledge

 Good to have understanding of scheduling and monitoring Tools such as Autosys, Splunk and AppDynamics.

 Should have experience in application support (also be able to provide support on-call).

 Ticketing systems- Candidate should have experience working with incident/problem/change ticket (Service Now).

Certification:

 Good to have Redhat Linux administration
