Job Role Related Content (Role specific)

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Over 4+ years’ experience in MySQL administration on Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) platforms.
• One who will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of clusters of MySQL/Percona instances.
• One should also be responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database on both technologies (MySQL/Percona).
• One should also be responsible for performing migrations (Both in-place and side-by-side).
• One should have experience on working with different MySQL/Percona versions.
• One should also work in tandem with the other teams, preparing documentations and specifications as required.
• Provision MySQL/Percona instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
• One should have experience on working on clustered environments like INNODB, NDB & XtraDB Cluster.
• Understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB , MyISAM , Xtradb & TokuDB.
