Cognitive Analyst
- Cognitive Analysts at IBM are subject matter experts that build the bridge between our business and our clients, immersing themselves into the market to understand problems and find innovative solutions.
- The CSD Cognitive Analyst role requires a well-organized, action-oriented team player with exceptional time management and strong written and oral communication skills to drive deliverables to resolution in a fast-paced environment. As a Cognitive Analyst in business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data integration you will be involved in numerous traditional report development projects. The role requires coordination between various departments and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of strategic and operational improvements.
- The Person in this role must be a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst. This person will work closely with various stakeholders to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop innovative solutions.
- This position will be responsible for inspecting, transforming, and modeling data with a keen eye for data verification, validation, integration between systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, IT, and Business Operations, to understand business needs and develop solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners.
- Develop and maintain data preparation and validation to support the reporting of business metrics.
- Transform data into insight that can help to improve the value of the business.
- Managing data retrieval and analysis within an organization. Their duties include organizing data points, communicating between upper management and the CSD team.
- Experience in providing reporting and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Experience as a Data Analyst.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- SQL, Go, Python, Java, or Javascript skills.
- Understanding of the Cloud industry, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
