Introduction to role

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of pharmaceuticals? We are seeking a Global Insights Expert to craft, deliver, and govern KPIs, directly linked processes, and tools under Global Supply Chain and Strategy ownership (GSC&S). This role is pivotal in supporting GSC&S and site/region collaborators in making informed decisions and fulfilling critical metric targets.

Accountabilities

As a Global Insights Expert, you will be responsible for POC and citizen development projects, user training and change management of new critical metrics and supporting tools. You will own the business definition of critical metrics, directly linked processes and their supporting tools, ensuring alignment with AZ scorecard & strategic objectives. You will ensure that owned critical metrics & tools are refreshed & published in a timely and accurate manner. You will also use owned critical metrics & tools for in-depth analysis of performance, generating actionable insight for Network Planning and/or Ops site/region collaborators.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • BSc degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering
  • Extensive experience of supply chain environment, and supply/demand planning
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience using Power BI and Snowflake
  • Proficient in English, written and verbal
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong background in advanced planning systems, forecasting systems

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering
  • Experience working closely with AZ sites / PETs, AZ Marketing Companies, Ops IT and GSC&S D&A
  • Sophisticated supply chain theory knowledge
  • Training skills
  • Proven knowledge of Lean principles
  • Proficiency in OMP
  • Project management experience
