Instrumentation Engineer - Contracts
1. To prepare, lead and manage all costing and pricing aspects of a tender within the tender team
2. To review the bill of quantity received from design team and optimise inline to the tender requirements
3. Knowledge on Instrumentation design in different type of water projects (Water Treatment Plant, Waste Water Treatment Plant, STP, ETP, SWRO)
4. Knowledge on rate analysis for various instrumentation products involved in water projects.
5. Good knowledge on OEM and vendors of various instrumentation items
6. Able to read and understand the tender documents, scope of work, specifications, datasheets, drawings, layouts, P&ID, system architecture, cable routing etc.
7. Good communication skills (presentations, relationship with all stake holders)
8. Ability to deliver on-time
9.Ability to work in network (with Bid manager, Tender lead, Design team, other contributors)
10. Ability to analyse and define cost impact of terms & conditions
11. Good knowledge on commissioning to evaluate the time and manpower required for tender forecast
12. Handled projects with government customers and major consultants
13. Flexibility on working with teams from different regions and time zones
