Internal Corporate Communication

Description

Purpose :

The corporate communications team at Virtusa is responsible for drafting consistent, accurate, and polished messages for its employees from Virtusa. As an individual contributor, the selected candidate must manage all corporate communications activities globally.

Expectations :

  • Deliver best-in-class internal communications to build Virtusa’s corporate reputation and brand recognition across stakeholders.
  • Promote and develop engagement across stakeholders to create a favorable profile for Virtusa.
  • Support Virtusa’s leaders in exercising their various communications-related activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-impact messaging to keep employees informed, engaged, and inspired.
  • Use interactive ways to keep the employees apprised of Virtusa’s corporate vision, mission, and business goals.
  • Develop a sense of pride and belongingness amongst employees.
  • Create executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and more.
  • Create marketing communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide communications support for integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure communications are consistent and conform to Virtusa’s brand guidelines.
  • Liaise effectively with senior management, other internal and external stakeholders, and members of the marketing team to complete projects timely.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to interpret concepts into written briefs and content.
  • Manage all aspects of the company’s intranet communications portal by producing user-friendly e-products in the light of regular user feedback.

Primary Skills :

  • Excellent copywriting skills with attention to detail and a firm grasp of English grammar.
  • Experience in writing marketing collaterals.
  • Can work collaboratively at all levels.
  • Should be a go-getter bringing a strategic and creative approach to work.
  • Ability to manage several complex and detailed projects timely.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced distributed environment.
  • Experience in identifying and measuring communications metrics.
  • Intermediate-level expertise in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
