Role Overview:
In this role, you will take ownership of managing a B2C application, ensuring it aligns with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and delivers a seamless experience to customers. You’ll handle incident and problem management, plan software releases and updates, and coordinate application changes while minimizing business impact. A strong background in backend development and DevOps is essential for success in this position.Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development or application management
Strong knowledge of Backend technologies
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices
Proficiency in ITIL service management frameworks
Experience in Problem Management and Incident Management
Ability to plan and coordinate software releases and updates
Familiarity with Change Management processes
Experience working with Agile and Kanban methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
Willingness to work on Support & Enhancement projects, including on-call duties
Key Responsibilities:
Problem & Incident Management:Identify and resolve technical issues and application errors.
Ensure timely response and resolution of incidents to meet SLAs.
Plan and execute software updates, version upgrades, and patches.
Coordinate release cycles to ensure application stability and minimal downtime.
Implement and coordinate changes in the application environment.
Assess operational impact and ensure smooth transition during updates.
Participate in enhancement projects as required.
Be available for occasional on-call support when needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or related roles
Skills & Expertise:
Proficient in ITIL service management frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Hands-on experience with Backend technologies and DevOps tools
Familiarity with Frontend technologies is a plus
Experienced in Agile and Kanban project management methodologies
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
