Engineering role profile for M365/ MS Purview DLP and the preferred location is India.
Engineering Requirement : x2 FTE preferred location is India
As an experienced Microsoft Purview Compliance DLP Engineer, you will assist in the strategic design, implementation and ongoing optimisation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives, at an enterprise level, within Barclays.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect and engineer DLP security solutions that align with corporate level strategies.
- Create, review and maintain DLP documentation including documenting & publishing fixes in central knowledge base.
- Work with global teams to provide consistent processes and solutions.
- Competency to lead technical and strategic conversations with respect to M365 and can advise partners on complex technical deployments and guidance navigating M365 products and features.
Technical Skills & Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in data leakage analysis or data loss prevention for an enterprise network.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Exceptional understanding of existing on-premises and emerging Azure & M365 security technologies.
- Active-Directory (AD)
- Entra-ID inc. Roles Based Access Controls (RBAC) & Adminitrative Units (AU’s)
- Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Defender
- Cloud App Security (MCAS)
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Purview Compliance toolset.
- Classifiers
- Trainable Classifiers
- Sensitive Information Types (SITs)
- Exact Data Match (EDM)
- Data Loss Prevention
- DLP policy design and structure
- Alert management and investigation
- Information Protection
- Insider Risk Management
- Regular Expression Language (RegEx)
- Microsoft RMS/MPIP Encryption
- Classifiers
- Strong knowledge of M365 integration points with DLP.
- Exchange Online
- Teams
- SharePoint
- OneDrive
- EndPoint
- Office Apps: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
- SME knowledge of 3 rd party SIEM/ Incident management tooling.
- Experience or working knowledge with Zscaler DLP, ServiceNow DLP and Proofpoint DLP
- SME knowledge on other Data Leakage Prevention security solutions covering Symantec DLP EndPoint, Discover, Web & Email.
- Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
- Experience of dealing with incident, problem and change management processes.
